| To me , ti just comes down to what you want/can afford. Does Mandrel outflow the same size pipe as crush? Hell yes. Would a new 2.5" crush bent exhaust with the pre and main cats gone with upgraded mufflers outflow the OEM set up??? Hell yes. Would a new Mandrel 2.5" with all the above outflow the crush? Yep. Is it worth upwards of triple the cost??? You have to decide for yourself. If you have a Stage 0 to III and just like to have the car, never race/track/drag it, rarley have it to WOT, and just generally like to keep a sweet older car up to the level it deserves and have a fun car to take out now and again. The extra expense of Mandrel will probably never be put to any use. Why not put the $500 - $800 you save into a new facia, paint, interior kit, etc that you will see and use all the time? If you push your car to the limits, show it, or just want your car to have the best it can have - buck up for the Mandrel. We are all here for the Z - but we all have the Z for different reasons. My .02 anyway.
